You can use the calculator without an account. If you sign in, this is what we keep and why.

What we collect when you sign in

• Your name, email address and profile picture from Google, Microsoft or the email sign-up form.
• When you sign in or come back to the app (at most one record per 30 minutes), and which browser you used.
• The calculations you run: product dimensions, weights, pallet and container settings, and the results. No free text.
• Configurations you choose to save, including any name and notes you give them.

If you ask for a freight quote, signed in or not, we keep what you enter in that form (name, email, company, phone, ship-from and ship-to places, date and notes) with the plan it was for, and email it to our sales team so Friesen Plastics can reply with a rate.

Live chat

The website and the optimizer (when you are not signed in) offer a live chat run by Zoho SalesIQ. If you chat, Zoho keeps what you type and basic visit details, such as pages viewed, browser and approximate location, so our team can answer. Zoho's own privacy policy applies to that service. The chat is not shown while you are signed in.

Visit statistics

We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites.

Cookies and browser storage

• When you sign in, your browser stores your sign-in session and a small cookie (po_auth) that tells our server you are signed in, so it can serve the app without the chat. Signing out removes both.
• The live chat sets its own cookies when it loads.
• We use no advertising cookies.

We do not record calculations for visitors who are not signed in, and we do not store IP addresses with this information.

How we use it

• To let you save, reload and share your pallet and load plans.
• To understand how the tool is used and improve it.
• Friesen Plastics may contact you about packaging that fits what you are shipping. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your information.

Who can see it

Your saved configurations are visible to you and to members of your team, if you join one. Friesen Plastics administrators can see account details, sign-in history and calculations. Data is stored and processed by our service providers: Supabase (accounts and saved plans), Railway (hosting), Cloudflare (network and visit statistics), Resend (emails) and Zoho (live chat).

How long we keep it

Sign-in and calculation history is deleted after 12 months. Your account and saved configurations stay until you ask us to delete them.
